I had a pleasant experience overall. The room was spacious, and I appreciated the mini fridge. Breakfast was decent and open for long hours. Plus, the location was super central, only a 5-minute walk from the train station. The staff were understanding when I checked in late. 😊

the curtains in my room were too short, allowing bright daylight, not what I expected! also, the fridge was not functioning. can you believe it? almost thought about a good review for this place, but then no complimentary gesture was offered for my troubles. such a shame, really.

I had a lovely experience at Hotel Alte Wache. The staff were remarkably friendly, immediately accommodating my requests. I found my room to be spacious with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. The breakfast offered a good variety.

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by several issues. The absence of air conditioning made my room uncomfortable during the hot weather. I found the noise from the street quite bothersome at night, which disrupted my sleep. There seemed to be a lack of maintenance as I noticed lamps that weren't working, and the shower had problems as well.

The reception staff lack English skills!!! the inner courtyard noise can be bothersome at night, and the hotel definitely shows signs of age with noticeable wear and tear in the rooms!!!
